Customer service

Peroni can provide its customers with a top class after-sales service which is available anywhere, including the most  remote world locations.

The task of the Customer Service engineers is not only to solve any existing pump or system problem, but also to offer their experience to the clients to optimize the use of the installed pumps and systems.

The service proposed allows our clients to take advantage of the expertise of our Service Staff to:

  • increase pumps up-time by maximizing wear components life and increasing the maintenance interval of the pumps;
  • optimize life cycle costs to minimize spares consumption and the downtime of the pumps;
  • drastically reduce unexpected system failures.

These results are obtained by:

  • verifying the correct installation of the pumps, and performing, if necessary, acoustical calculation of the pump and piping system to assure the smooth running of the pumps;
  • studying possible solutions of equipment upgrading to face the actual characteristics of the liquid handled that often is different, mainly in terms of chemical aggressiveness and particles content, in respect to the design conditions;
  • training the maintenance staff about the right procedures to be adopted during the life of the equipment: this training is even more critical in most cases where the assistance of Peroni technicians has not been requested during the commissioning of the pumps;
  • identifying the parts that are necessary to have in stock and defining  the right stock policy.

To assure maximum pump performance and reliability, Peroni has made it its policy to make original Peroni spare parts available in the shortest possible time.  The use of Peroni parts by their customers has been instrumental in the successful long running times of many pumps installed in the 1960’s which are still running today.
